AutoProfit Privacy Policy

AutoProfit helps organize vehicles, expenses, sales, and customers. The controller for the app’s services and support is Oscar Duran Grillo, Barcelona, Spain. Contact: support@oduran.me.

Data and purposes

You can start without creating an account. In local mode, information you enter stays on your device: vehicle details and photos, prices, expenses, reservations, deposits, payments, refunds, customer contact details, notes, opportunities, and follow-ups. Your preferences are also stored. This information is used to display inventory, calculate results, and organize next steps.

AutoProfit does not process payments, access your bank accounts, or read your address book. If you enter customer data for your business, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to use it and informing those people. Avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information.

Connected features and providers

The current release does not offer new registration or sign-in. If you retain an existing session with active synchronization, account data such as name, email, and identifier, together with workspace records and images, is transmitted to Supabase to store and synchronize your information.

If you use Smart Scan in an existing account where it is enabled, selected images are sent to the recognition service, which uses Google Gemini. Images may include license plates or other visible identifiers. The service stores images, results, account identifier, app version, and request diagnostics to provide and troubleshoot this feature. Manual entry does not require Smart Scan.

Opening or importing a listing contacts the website you choose, which has its own privacy policy. If you contact support, we process your name, email, and message to respond. The web form uses Netlify; email is handled by the email provider.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required by law, transfers must rely on an adequacy decision or other valid safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the applicable safeguards using the contact email.

Permissions and advertising

Camera access lets you capture vehicles, receipts, and identifiers. The photo picker shares only images you choose. Notifications are optional and provide follow-up reminders. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings and continue entering records manually.

AutoProfit does not sell your data or use advertising identifiers to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Legal basis and retention

We process information needed to provide the features you request and respond to your inquiries. Optional permissions depend on your choice; you can withdraw them in iOS. Security and troubleshooting rely, where applicable, on the legitimate interest in maintaining the service, and information is retained where legally required.

Local records remain until you delete them or the app’s data is removed, subject to system backups. Uninstalling may remove local records and does not guarantee deletion of synchronized data. Cloud records are retained while the service is provided or until deletion; support data and diagnostics are kept as needed for resolving issues, security, or legal obligations. You can request deletion of account data, images, and scan records by email.

Your rights

You can edit or delete local records and request access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction, or objection regarding data we process, as applicable. You may also withdraw consent without affecting previous processing. Email support@oduran.me. Where data exists only locally, the developer cannot access it remotely.

You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es/) or your competent authority. The app does not make automated decisions with legal effects on you.

Changes and contact
